Sidetracked
2015-04-16 @ 1:19 a.m.Nny sat down to write an entry. As inevitably happens, Nny got distracted, sidetracked by previous entries, by a previous life. As you can see by Nny's attempt at an entry, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Except, nothing fucking changed, did it. At least with the roller skating, Nny can pretend he's working towards a goal. He did see some improvements. And now, as usual, he's plateaued. Even with the protective gear, and the relative anonymity he should be able to enjoy at the rinks he frequents, he still hasn't set to testing and exceeding his self-imposed limits. He hasn't even mastered the fundamentals. Nny does have a couple of jobs that, while they may not pay exceptionally well, he doesn't loathe. He even seems to have some decent coworkers, too. Sure, there's drama, but, so far, it has slid off his back like water off a duck. But this entry, like many other things, is just one more way to procrastinate. Nny needs to head to bed. To sleep. To head to the roller rink in a timely manner in the morning.
